Too much to handle
Well, as you can tell, it's been ages since my last post. We haven't seen the coyotes again since the week of the last post. Someone either got a bee-bee gun (b-b gun?) and scared them off or who knows? Anyway, no sign of them. We have, though, purchased an old, new home with the idea that being closer to everything else we do will make life easier. In the meantime, though, preparing our house for sale and renovating the "new" house will not make life easier. It will all be worth it 2 years from now...
Business is booming and I'm loving it -- except for trying to fit everything into a day. I'm working on hiring/outsourcing to help take some of the workload off me. Who would have thought I'd be at a point so soon to need that? I'm surprised and thrilled.
We're anxious for our vacation in October... getting away is difficult, though.
The kids are doing well -- Kyra's got a double ear infection. The doctor said "She must be a strong kid. Most kids with two ear infections like this would be screaming all night." She's never had traditional symptoms (fever, waking up) so it's usually pretty far along before we realize it's even there. Poor baby. She's adorable, though. She's saying two word sentences. "Sit here" "Kyra's nose. Mommy's nose. Daniel's nose. Daddy's nose. Kyra's shoes. Daniel's shoes. Daddy's shoes. Mommy's shoes." and it goes on. She also screams "Mine" when Daniel takes something from her or if he has something she wants. They are starting to play together and can play together for a good 5 minutes before someone is crying or screaming. If it's more than 5 minutes and no one is crying or screaming, they must be getting into trouble together -- cleaning the windows with the baby wipes, rubbing play dough into the carpet, drawing on their bodies...
Daniel is as precious as ever. He's growing up so much and managing his emotions better. He still loves rockets and space. He got a "Dash" costume from the Incredibles for Halloween and is thrilled - he's been asking for it for ages. I thought he'd wear his astronaut costume but he's fixated on the Dash thing. Kyra will be a unicorn which is adorable as well.
Anyway, I'll try to get some pictures up but with packing and trying to keep the house clean for showing, who knows where the camera will be.
