Fun weekends

I forgot to mention that last weekend we went to the Ringling Bros. circus up in Everett. We only stayed until just after intermission as the kids were restless -- so I missed all the big animals. I did get to see the tigers, though. I am pretty sure Daniel's only reason for wanting to go was for the cotton candy -- so 1.5 hours and a cotton candy, lemonade, popcorn and candy apple later, we left!

Today we headed to the Puyallup Fair which is always a blast -- arrived about 10am and left about 1pm just in time for naps (and before the lines got really long). Daniel was immediately excited about the haunted house ride but was terrified throughout (not really a surprise). The kids loved the rides and games -- Daniel won (for himself) a giant racoon and Kyra got a small penguin. (Blogger's giving me a hard time with uploading more pics - so I'll add them later. )

House and kids

Here's a recent picture of the house progress.. it's really coming together -- walls are in, interior painting this week. We're supposed to be in around mid-October. We'll see. Daniel's going to be disappointed because he LOVES Halloween and we're not sure if we'll be able to set up the graveyard we bought for the front lawn... Yes, we already have costumes and decorations. I think we'll have to go overboard for inside decorations to compensate.

Also, I had the camera today so here are some cute shots from swimming class. Next session both kids are in the pool with teachers and no parents... change of pace after 4 years!
