Moving...

Did I mention we moved? Yes, finally, on Tuesday... and we've been living in boxes ever since. Yesterday I decreased the number of boxes by about 1/2 and it's coming together. My mom comes in tomorrow to help -- we figured we'd be totally moved in by the time she arrived... turns out to be perfect timing to help. We're very happy to be there and our commute - door to door, including dropping off the kids at school - is 15 minutes! :)

Next week...

Still working on finalizing the plumbing for inspection... and then final inspection. Still need to install door handles, etc... but the finishes are coming together nicely. Here's a picture of the front (the garage door was open with workers so I didn't take a picture of the whole thing)... and the master bath which I think looks great... and the stairwell in the living room which is fabulous.

Halloween

The kids loved trick or treating in the new neighborhood. A couple of Daniel's friends from school live in the neighborhood and we all got together to trick or treat after the party at school. It was a lot of fun.

The house is still almost done. I keep hoping "this week" and "this week" passes without it being done... there's still the final touch up painting, finishing the cabinets, faucets, etc. -- but otherwise done. I keep meaning to take some updated pictures but haven't done it as yet... hopefully "this week..."
